What fuels Uniwex furnaces can burn
The right choice of fuel depends not only on economic factors but also on the equipment you have. UNIWEX heating furnaces allow you to burn most types of fuel available on the market, you just need to match the right model to the material used.
Biomass furnaces from the BIOMATIC line of chunk wood, briquettes, wood chips, as well as pellets. Sawdust and shavings with a moisture content of up to 30% can also be used for combustion.
We have also prepared a solution for those using shavings and sawdust with moisture content as high as 50%, in the form of the COMFORT line, specifically the CLASSIC-RS and CLASSIC-RT models. These are biomass furnaces that can burn most fragmented fuels. In addition, the RT model also allows the use of wood chips of forest origin, and RS seeds and fruit peelings, as well as straw and peat pellets. COMFORT CLASSIC can also burn wood dust.
Of great importance are the innovative PREMIUM furnaces from the COMFORT line, which can burn shredded particleboard and wood-based boards such as MDF and HDF. In accordance with the Decree of the Minister of the Environment dated March 01, 2018 they can be burned as long as they have not been previously treated.
In summary, UNIWEX furnaces can use the following:
- fragmented fuels:
- wood chips (including forestry chips),
- briquette,
- sawdust and shavings,
- pellets (including those made from straw and peat),
- shavings,
- bark,
- fruit seeds,
- wood dust,
